The 2024 Native Rhythms Festival will once again conduct three separate competitions:

Entrant Recognition Awards

As has been our tradition from our first year, all Native Rhythms Festival competition entrants will receive a beautiful commemorative necklace with the flute-playing Kokopelli character from our event logo. These necklaces will look like the one in the photo at the left, except they will have the date ’24 in the upper right-hand corner. These necklaces will be a limited run for our 2024 competition entrants.

These necklaces will be made by Tom Ransom from maple. They will appear similar to the necklaces we provided in our early years made from Jerusalem stone, imported from Israel (unfortunately, that supplier has gone out of business).

So, don’t miss out on the ’24 Native Rhythms Festival competitors’ necklace. All you need do is enter the Flute Makers’ or Flute Players’ or Artists’ Competition and you’ll have this beautiful keepsake.

Competition Awards

In addition to the unique, custom trophies as specified in the rules for the individual competitions, the Winners of 2024 Native Rhythms Festival Flute Makers’, Flute Players’, and Artists’ Competitions will be awarded cash prizes in the amounts of $100 for first place, $75 for second place, and $50 for third. Further, the winner of the 2024 Paula Ellis Memorial Flute Players’ Competition will be offered the opportunity to appear on the 2025 Native Rhythms Festival program.
