Directions to the Candlewood Suites

Again this year, the Candlewood Suites will be the site of the Native Rhythms Flute School on Thursday and Friday, November 8 & 9. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Candlewood Suites for Native Rhythms Flute School participants at the special rate of $99 per night (plus sales and occupancy taxes) when you use the special event code "NRR". The Candlewood Suites (indicated by the "A" tab on the below map) is located just east of Wickham Road on the Pineda Causeway (State Road 404), about 4 miles north of Wickham Park, at 2930 Pineda Causeway, Melbourne, FL 32940. NOTE: the map below is a little misleading. To get to the Candlewood Suites if you're eastbound from I-95, you must turn left onto N Wickham Road and then immediately turn right onto the old Pineda Causeway at the next traffic light. The road ends in the Candlewood Suites parking lot. The satellite view below is much clearer.

The intersection of Wickham Road and Pineda Causeway underwent a considerable reconfiguration a couple years ago. The satellite image below shows that the main road to/from the Pineda Causeway no longer passes in front of the Candlewood Suites. Coming northbound on Wickham Road from Wickham Park, proceed to the next intersection past the new Pineda Causeway intersection, just past the giant cross at the Pineda Presbyterian Church on your left, to the next traffic light. Turn right there onto the old Pineda Causeway road. Follow this road to it's end and it will deposit you into the Candlewood Suites parking lot.
