The Festival Grounds & Guests

Before we get into the photos, here's a
little time lapse sequence of the entire weekend.

The first two days were shot from the side of
the audience area, looking down on the stage.

Sunday the camera was moved to the back of the
stage, behind the performers, looking out at the
audience. During Robert Mirabal's performance
the rains came and the audience moved to the
stage, where Randy played to them in the final
performance of the weekend.

Thanks to NRF chairman Mike Knight for this video.

"Best Booth" Award Winner
Each year since 2010, select members of the Native Rhythms Festival organizing committee have visited all of the various booths in the vendor area to select what they consider the "Best Booth". The winner is awarded the giant traveling flute trophy (created by Mike Knight) and afforded the honor of displaying it for the next year, and awarded a complementary vendor registration the following year. For 2012, the "Best Booth" award goes to Kim Cruickshank of Mermaid in the Mountains. Congratulations Kim!
